The food was amazing and the service was amazing! Our waitress was so sweet and friendly! We came from Illinois for a week and were looking for a good place to eat I called to ask her about drinks to make sure she had the drinks we like and they did and she was so sweet over the phone and in person! She got our business instantly when I called and she was so sweet and inviting and I’m very glad we went! Great service and fantastic food! Hush puppies, homemade chips and salsa, onion petals, buffalo chicken wrap, homemade tenderloin, and hand branded shrimp! Wow! So delicious Thank you guys so much!!
We had the best weekend stay! Loved the beautiful views of Table Rock Lake and our room right by the pool. The owners were awesome—super friendly and around all weekend, easy to chat with if you needed anything. Definitely a great spot. We’ll be back for sure!
Kurt and staff at the Goofy Goose are absolutely wonderful to work with (and food and service is awesome too)! We held my mother's funeral lunch here a week ago and Kurt made sure everything went smoothly. Food and service were top notch and everyone at the lunch had nothing but positive things to say about everything. Thank you, Kurt, for making this difficult time much easier!
A classic bar fair aesthetic, with really nice staff. We got to try their turtle sauce and goofy goose sauce which was really unique and a flavor explosion! I know we enjoyed our food. Chicken bacon ranch wrap was perfectly filled and whatever wrap they used was wonderful it has just the right about of chew and a bit of moisture so it was springy and kept everything wrapped in nicely. Really enjoyed the appetizer pulled pork nachos but wish there was like honestly a TINY bit more pork and cheese sauce. It didn't need much more but we had a handful of fairly plain chips which was disappointing because of how we enjoyed the BBQ. Everything was very good!
Awesome little hole in the wall place. The BEST tenderloin my hubby and I have EVER had. Great service...good cocktails!! If you drive in don’t let the curb appeal throw you off. It’s a little motel with the bar attached. Worth the trip. The boys next to us had a Caesar chicken wrap and they said it was delicious. Give them your business. Lake access too!
Great food, great atmosphere! The sweet potato fries are so good. And a big thank you to our waitress for saving the day! My son forgot his insulin bag at the table, and she ran out to give it to us as we were driving away. We are here on vacation, and live 10 hrs away. Losing his medication would have been awful.
The food was excellent! A little spicy and great flavors! What impressed me most though was how nice everyone was. We have a family member with Alpha Gal from a tick bite. They made certain that his food was cooked before others on a freshly cleaned grill and oil so that he would not get any beef or pork mixed with his food. That was wonderful! Thank you Goofy Goose!
We came for drinks and a bite to eat. The bartender, "Pancho", is SO fun and friendly! The atmosphere was awesome – there are ceiling fans and garage doors, so you feel like you're outside, but you're not . We made friends with 2 couples who live in the area and even got to meet the owner –who was also very friendly. The chicken tenders were so unbelievably tender that I took a short video with my husband breaking one open. I'm not kidding when I tell you that they practically melt in your mouth. Overall, Pretty much the most fun we've had at any place in the area so far!
